Terms & Conditions
- Participants qualify to enter by either betting on their Marshalls World of Sport account only.
- Participants can only enter by placing a bet on any eSport during the promotion period.
- Directors, management and employees (and their immediate families) of Marshalls World of Sport, and suppliers, associated companies and agencies of Marshalls World of Sport are not eligible to enter.
- The prizes are three PlayStation 4’s.
- A customer must place an eSport bet to the minimum value of R10 on their online betting account in order to qualify for the draw.
- Each bet is the equivalent to one entry. Punters are allowed to enter as many times as they would like to.
- To qualify for this competition the punter would have had to make a deposit into their account. No punters using Sign Up Free Bet’s will be eligible for this competition.
- The winners will be selected randomly via a draw from all valid entries.
- The prize is non-transferable and will couriered to the winner’s closest Marshalls World of Sport branch or to the residence of the winner; this is at the decision of Marshalls World of Sport.
- Marshalls World of Sport’s total liabliaty in terms of any and all transactions will be limited to the clients win and our limits.
- Excluded people will not be eligible to enter.
- The Promotion commences on 27 March 2020 and closes 13 April 2020 (promotion period).
- Draws to select the winners will be done by one of the Marshalls World of Sport members and will be supervised by an internal auditor.
- Announcement of weekly winners will be done on: 30 March, 6 April, and 13 April.
- Winners will receive their PlayStation 4 within a week from the end of Lockdown.
- The winner may be required to sign an indemnity and exclusion of liability form and publicity waiver (provided by Marshalls World of Sport) in favour of all parties involved in this competition prior to taking the prize. If the prize winner does not sign the indemnity form provided by Marshalls World of Sport within the time stipulated, the winner's entry or claim will be deemed invalid.
- The winner may be requested to be photographed for publicity purposes or social media platforms or other marketing activities. No fees will be payable in this regard. Participation in any such marketing activity is voluntary and may be declined.
- All participants must be 18 years of age or older.
- Marshalls World of Sport will use reasonable endeavours to notify the winner by email and telephone within two business days of the date on which the prize winner is determined.
- In the event that the prize is not accepted or claimed within 1 week of the date of the draw, or if, after making reasonable attempts, Marshalls World of Sport cannot personally contact the prize winner, that winner's entry will be deemed invalid and Marshalls World of Sport will make further determination of the winner, using the criteria set out above.
- If required, it will remain the responsibility of the winner to report any to your local law, regulatory, or tax authorities or any other relevant authorities. Marshalls World of Sport will not be liable to such authorities for any payment of your personal taxes. Please note that regulatory changes in respect of taxation in certain jurisdictions may have an impact on these terms of use, and may include the deduction of any applicable levy from any winnings or withdrawals.
- Incomprehensible, incomplete or illegible entries will be deemed invalid and not permitted into the promotion.
- Marshalls World of Sport reserves the right to disqualify entries in the event of non-compliance with the conditions of entry or if, in the opinion of Marshalls World of Sport, an eligible entrant tampers with any entry mechanism in any way.
- Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Marshalls World of Sport (including its employees and agents) excludes the liability (including negligence), for any personal injury, or any loss of damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the competition.
- Any cost associated with accessing the Marshalls World of Sport website is the entrant's responsibility and is dependent on the internet service provider used.
- In the event of a dispute, an individual can contact the respective gambling regulatory body in their region for assistance.
- Marshalls World of Sport has the right to change any of its the terms and conditions at any time without cause or notice.
- Marshalls World of Sport and its authorised agents reserve the right to vary, suspend, postpone or terminate the competition and any prizes which have not already been won, or any aspect thereof, for any reasons whatsoever and without notice. In such event, you hereby waive any rights or expectations, which you may have against Marshalls World of Sport or its authorised agents and acknowledge that you will not have any recourse or claim of any nature against Marshalls World of Sport or its authorised agents.
